The Irvine Child Care Project oversaw the opening of the 25th child care site in August 2017 at Beacon Park School. Rainbow Rising is the child care provider. All 25 IUSD elementary schools now have before and after school child care. ICF is proud to provide $130,000 for before and after school child care scholarships for low-income, working families who attend an ICCP child care program.
The Irvine Children’s Fund is a non-profit community support organization, whose mission is to raise funds to help parents meet the before and after school child care needs for children on Irvine elementary school sites and to provide child care scholarships. The Irvine Children’s Fund has contributed $230,928 toward the expansion and major maintenance of child care facilities.
